On Nov. 17 the Centurion published a story with the headline “Transitioning to Transgender Policies: Pennsbury.” Following the publication of the article, the Centurion discovered that several quotes attributed to Joshua Waldorf, a member of the school board, had been embellished and were inaccurate. Specifically, Mr. Waldorf did not say “this is something that is happening worldwide” and “within the last year, more than 12 incidents involving gender discrimination arose within the district.” The story has since been removed from the Centurion website. The Centurion staff deeply regrets what occurred and apologizes.
