In no specific order, I'd like to share my favorite movies of the Great Decade- the 80s. Weird plots, bad acting and worse clothes, yet strangely enough its movies have an eerie draw to them. Now, when I say 80s I'm using it loosely- by that I mean the certain style that has cultivated into its own genre. Allow me to take you down the boulevard of classlessness of an old tradition long gone, but not forgotten: cheesy movies from the 80s.

Produced by lead singer Chris Barnes, this album leads our minds through a waste land of greed, corruption and destruction, while taking a break here and there for some good old fashioned hate.

Warren Zevon passed away at his home in California on Sunday, September 7th. He was 56 years old. Zevon was diagnosed with a rare and deadly form of lung cancer in August of 2002. His doctors gave him just three months to live. The last few months of Mr. Zevon's life were chronicled in the VH1 special, "Inside out: Keep Me In Your Heart". This documentary also showed the recording of his final album "The Wind".

Leni Riefenstahl, the German filmmaker whose career stretched seventy years and included major Nazi propaganda, died Sept. 8. She was 101.
