New Break Dance Club at Bucks

New Break Dance Club at Bucks

A Break Dance Club will soon be a reality on campus.

The club’s President Eric Vanderslice as well as advisor John Stroffolino claim the club is shaping up to be a good one with many interesting benefits.

The schedule of the Break Dance Club is for the group to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1. No definite meeting place has been set.

The goal of the club is for students to help each other learn new moves and techniques while listening to hip-hop and break beats.

For anyone who is a hip-hop fan this club is sure to be a hit. Students around campus are pretty enthusiastic and energetic about the idea of this club.

Greg Potts, 18, from Langhorne said, “Hip-hop is my kind of music. I think I will try the club out just so I can hear my favorite artists and learn some new moves at the same time”.

Julia Burns, 21, from Bristol said, “I think it is an incredible idea. I have been waiting for such a unique club as this to begin. I think it’s great how we can finally appreciate the talent behind hip-hop and learn to dance better while listening to it”.

Even though this new club has attracted some students, others have a different view of it and are not so thrilled with the idea.

“I don’t think this club is very educational. The whole club is just dancing and not applying any knowledge they have at all,” said one student.

“If you are going to start up a club why not start a country club? Why does it have to be hip-hop? Just because it is popular and people oversee the other areas of music,” another student said.
