Book Discussion Group Gets Underway

Book Discussion Group Gets Underway

Although most people think reading is a dying pastime, here at Bucks, literature is still alive and well as a result of the monthly book discussion group.

The group meets in room 15 of the Newtown campus’ Rollins Center, from 7:30-9 p.m.

“Reading and discussing thought provoking texts, hazarding guesses as to what life is all about in other perspectives, [is what the group is all about],” said book discussion leader Michael Hennessey. Books chosen for discussion are voted on by the group.

Hennessey believes that 10-12 people are going to show up for the next book discussion. The group meets every month during the semester.

Hennessey and the rest of the group welcome students, staff, and anyone interested in participating in discussion, or simply listening.

The next meeting will be held on Feb 12, with the focus on Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons.”
