Rock girls get reformed

It seems like ages
ago when the first
“Rock of Love” girls
began the exceedingly
competitive struggle
to win rocker
Brett Michaels’ heart.
We all watched as,
one by one, the girls
clawed their way to
get his attention, all
the while scheming
and manipulating
and basically tearing
each other apart.
When Michaels’ final choice
did not work out, another season
of nasty and devious girls joined
the fight. Again, we tuned in
eagerly to witness every dumb
comment and ditzy line until he
chose his second “Rock of Love.”
Now, to fans’ joyous surprise,
the “Rock of Love” girls are
back, but this time they’re here
to reform their bad-girl ways by
entering “Charm School.”
Just like their Season 1 “Flavor
of Love” predecessors, the girls
will go through a series of challenges
and competitions all centered
on taming their wild
antics. The last lady standing
will win $100,000 toward fulfilling
their life’s dream.
The classy, yet edgy, Sharon
Osbourne, wife of heavy metal
legend Ozzy Osbourne, has
signed on for the ambitious task
of subduing these crazy vixens.
This will be no easy mission, but
if anyone is able to conquer it,
she can.
All of the fan favorites are back
for more excitement. Lacey “The
Master Manipulator,” Heather
“The Stripper,” Angelique “The
French Exhibitionist,” Jessica
“The Baby,” Inna “The
Ukrainian Love Gun,” Courtney
“The Drunk One,” Daisy “The
Emotional One,” Brandi C. “The
Ditz,” Peyton “The Southern
Rocker” and several others are
back for more fun and fierce
altercations.
Will the girls be able to put
aside their differences and malicious
ways in the hopes of gaining
some respect and transforming
into, dare we say it,
ladies? The show has
only aired twice so far,
but the girls are already
as rowdy as ever. They
have even begun mapping
out and executing
vicious plans of attack on
the other contestants.
So, why should we
watch this show about
seemingly air-headed
reality stars on the verge
of ripping each others’
hair out in pursuit of a monetary
prize?
For one, the show’s major cat
fights and trash-talking girls
should prove for some entertaining
television. It’s also a great
pick-me-up if you’re ever feeling
down about your life. Watching
the crazy tirade of rebellious
girls makes you feel much better
about your own life and saner.
Aside from these reasons,
there is one that stands out from
the rest. America has tons of
celebrity bad girls to obsess over,
but how many chances do we
get to witness the conversion of
one of these idolized bad girls
into a classy, reformed version?
Few.
