Though it started out rainy, the sky cleared up for an excellent few days of golf. The Bucks golf team competed in the PCAA Golf Tournament.

The tournament was held at scenic Penn National Golf Course in Chambersburg, PA on October 12, 13 and 14. Coach Scott Bradshaw took two of his players, Josh Ross and Matt Hollingsworth.

Ross did very well with scores of 86 and 78. This gave him a two-day total of 164. This placed him twelfth in state.

Matt Hollingsworth also played well with scores of 85 and 92. This gave him a total of 17, placing him in the middle of the pack.

Coach Bradshaw is pleased with both of his players. He said that Ross was disappointed with his scores on Monday, but on Tuesday he played respectably.

He feels that Ross will continue to improve in the spring.

“You always want to win,” said Bradshaw, “and the team had good competition, but they did well.”
