The Philadelphia Eagles have hired Temple University Alum Sean Desai as Defensive Coordinator for the birds. In the past, he has been an Associate head Coach and Defensive Assistant for the Seattle Seahawks. Along with a background as an Assistant coach for Boston College, University of Miami, and Temple University home of the Temple Owls.

Desai has replaced Jonathan Gannon who departed to become the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals. Desai is of Indian Descent and earned his Educational Administration in 2008 from Temple.

Desai, who is also the son of immigrants, was the first Indian American Coordinator in the National Football League (NFL).
