Another season of “Tough Love”

What comes to mind when you
hear the term “Tough Love?” Parenting?
No it’s actually a boot
camp where women get a realistic
portrayal in how they’ve looked in
front of men.
It also teaches females the problems
in their ways of approaching
relationships. Is it designed to
completely change the way in
which they go about pursuing a
male?
The women seek relationship
advice. Steve Ward, the host and
matchmaker, and his mom, JoAnn
Ward, promote their understanding
of relationships.
Steve matches up the women
with men he thinks best suit them.
He guarantees that the women
will fall in love.
There has been one season so
far, and it ends with a few happy
results. This isn’t a show in which
people are eliminated; it is one
that has the women complete different
challenges.
Jody Green had the biggest role
on the show in her quest for love.
She is a 39-year-old who had a
problem with letting guys completely
in. She ended up with a
guy, Shane, who seemed perfect
for her.
But Green went back to her old
ways when Shane asked why she
wasn’t married. She completely
freaked out as he drove her home
from their date.
On the episode after that, Steve
thought Green and Shane had
something there, and brought him
back on the show where he apologized
and they started talking like
before.
The women each got a name
based on how they present themselves
in the first meeting of the
show.
The women in season one consist
of: Abiola Abrams, aka Miss
Picky, Jody Green, aka Miss
Lone Ranger, Stasha Kravljanac,
aka Miss Ball Buster, Natasha
Malinsky, aka Mis-Guided, Arian
Mayer, aka Mis-Guided, Taylor
Royce, aka Miss Gold digger,
Jessa Faye Settles, aka Miss fatal
attraction, and Jacklyn Watkin,
aka Miss Bridezilla.
One woman will be in the hot
seat because they are either the
worst or the best.
In the finale, Stasha took Lux,
the man she met, to Serbia tomarry later this year. Taylor moved back to Scottsdale
to reconnect with her family and is still
talking to Jody every day. Arian moved to
L.A. to find a guy, the bartender she
met during Tough Love Boot Camp. Natasha met a guy right after Boot Camp ended, and
they are dating exclusively.
She says she doesn’t need to fix him. Abiola and Justin tried the “long distance thing,” but it didn’t work out. She’s dating, and
says she’s not Miss Picky anymore.
Jessa had a breakthrough and
found true love.with one of her
best guy friends. Jody and Shane
dated for a couple of months after
Boot Camp, but broke it off when
it didn’t get more serious. She has
no hard feelings and is happily
dating again.
Greg, Jacklyn’s ex- boyfriend,
waited for Jacklyn at the airport
with a ring. They broke up when
he went back to his old ways. As a
result, Jacklyn lost Brock, the
guys she met on the show.
If this show sounds appealing,
then you can watch the second
season, which comes out on Sun, Nov. 15 on VH-1.
