De-stress in Bucks County for Christmas

De-stress in Bucks County for Christmas

The end of the semester is usually
punctuated by students stressing
out over exams, final papers,
and the hustle of getting everything
done before the last possible
date. Why not take some time to
reflect on the past few months,
and get ready for the holidays with
some great events happening both
on the Bucks campus and all over
Bucks County?
All this week, the Student Concert
Series will be offering both
vocal and instrumental concerts in
the Presser Music Room on campus
at 7:3o p.m. on Dec. 7, 8, and
9. Free to both students and the
general public, these events are a
great way to take some down time
in between studying and writing
papers.
The Holiday Craft Sale will be
in the Rollins Center from 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. on December 7 and 8.
Original works of art by the college’s
ceramics, glassblowing,
jewelry, photography, and woodworking
classes will be offered for
sale. Buy great gifts for family
and friends, and help support the
arts at Bucks!
Woodworking created by Bucks
alumni is also on display at the
HicksArt Gallery through Dec 16.
The art exhibit is titled
“FW@XXX: Fine Woodworking
at Thirty” and is free and open to
the public. The Hicks Art Gallery
provides art exhibits and related
activities for the cultural enrichment
of both students and the general
public, and more information
can be found at
www.bucks.edu/gallery or by calling
215-504-8531.
Bucks County also has tons of
great activities for people of all
ages. Museums, concerts, and nature
events will both relax and excite.

along with a holiday choral
concert. Hot cider and cookies
will be served. This event is free.
At Peace Valley Nature Center

morning walk and watch the winter
wildlife. Bird walks are held
