Honors student thankful to be at Bucks

Delaney+Hensor
Delaney Hensor

For Delaney Hensor, being a member of Phi Theta Kappa, National Society of Leadership and Success, and treasurer of the Literary Society while balancing five classes is a daunting task.

However, Hensor, 20, who is majoring in Art History, manages to do so while also remaining on the dean’s list.

With all her success, she feels the affordability of Bucks has helped her greatly.

Not only has going to Bucks saved her money, but it has also helped her realize her passion and further expand on it.

With Hensor’s art classes that focus in life, style painting and photography, she is building a steady repertoire of art pieces.

As a second-year student, Hensor is ready to expand her wings beyond the Centurion’s walls and feels that she is now ready for the next chapter of her life.

She is planned to graduate with her associate’s degree this spring and start applications to different transfer schools.

She has visited many schools including, Penn State Abington, Temple University, and Millersville University, but after many visits she stumbled upon a new candidate.

The school that she feels most passionate about is Kutztown University. With its rich art program, Hensor feels the school is a great fit for her.

To the remarkable art studios, and variety of different art courses, Hensor feels she will gain the most from her art experience there.

As she approaches her last year at Bucks she is going to miss the school dearly. The two years she has spent at Bucks Hensor feels, “I have grown so much at the school and got to meet so many nice people.”

Bucks was not just a place of learning for her but she felt it was more. “I feel like I was part of a large, inviting family and will always be a Centurion.”

For incoming students attending in the fall she agrees Bucks is the best first start in furthering your education.

Hensor concludes that it is affordable while also providing good quality education. Not only is the academic side great but there is more.

With the school having sports, drama production, clubs, newspapers, social events and even a great mascot, the school has this and even more opportunities to offer.

She will always be thankful for the opportunity she has gotten to attend Bucks and see what it has to offer.
