iPhone 5 hits store

It’s that time of the year again, that is, time for the release of the newest apple product, the iPhone 5. With a thinner build, larger display, faster chip, the latest wireless technology, and an 8MP iSight camera, what’s not to love?

People everywhere have already begun pre-ordering their iPhone 5s, which are expected to arrive anytime from now until the beginning of October. But how do the students of Bucks feel about the new phone?

Jill Pekach of Doylestown, a freshman whose major is undecided, plans on upgrading to the IPhone 5 in the future and says “I think the iPhone 5 looks cool. I have the (iPhone) 4 still so it would be nice to get the upgrade and have more data space, so I do plan on getting the upgrade, I can’t wait to see what Apple comes out with next.”

“I already have it! I pre-ordered it and it came on Friday. I love it but the battery life is terrible.” comments Corrine Salsburg of Buckingham, a freshman business administration major.

On the opposing side there is Brad Benton of Warminster, a freshman whose current major is undecided.

Benton is one of many students who feel that the iPhone phenomenon is a scam, “I just got a Droid because the big change in the iPhone was only one more row. Plus I don’t feel like paying $700.”

Also against the new device is Alexia Minschwaner of Pipersville, a freshman nursing major. Minschwaner is an owner of the iPhone 4S but is uncertain if she will upgrade. “I like how sleek the new iPhone is, but it’s almost too light and it seems so fragile that I don’t trust myself having it unless it was seriously protected, especially since that I have had to get my iPhone 4 replaced 3 times.”

It seems that the students of Bucks are torn about this product overall.
